A Note From the Creator
This show is incredibly important to me as it is loosely based on my journey from Kitchener, ON to Los Angeles, California. The script was originally intended to be a feature film and was actually optioned by a major studio in Los Angeles. However, due to some disagreements at the negotiating table I decided to bring this story to life myself as a theatre production first!
Last June, Dimitri Goes to Hollywood took the stage at The Registry Theatre and was an overwhelming success. We had sold out shows during our run and the amount of support that we received from the community was incredible. Seeing how the show impacted the community made me motivated to put the show on again this year.
With some tweaks and enhancements, I am very excited to see this show be elevated to its full potential with your help! My goal is to be able to provide a memorable experience for all audience members who come to see it.
